How does it work?

Counselling gives you a private, supportive space to talk through what you are experiencing with a trained professional. The goal is not to tell you what to do, but to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, patterns, and challenges so you can move forward with greater clarity.

Each session is shaped around your needs, background, and comfort level. Some people come to counselling for stress, anxiety, grief, relationship concerns, life transitions, or past experiences that still feel heavy. Your counsellor may draw from different approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, or EMDR, depending on what fits your situation best.

Individual Counselling

Individual counselling offers one-on-one support for personal concerns such as stress, anxiety, grief, life changes, emotional strain, and past experiences that may still feel difficult to carry. It creates space to reflect, process, and work toward healthier ways of coping.

Couples Counselling

Couples counselling helps partners work through communication issues, conflict, trust concerns, life changes, and emotional disconnection. Sessions focus on helping both individuals feel heard while building a stronger understanding of the relationship.

ICBC Counselling

ICBC counselling supports individuals dealing with the emotional and mental effects of a motor vehicle accident. This may include stress, anxiety, fear, sleep issues, or trauma-related symptoms that affect day-to-day life after an accident.

Student Counselling

Student counselling provides support for the pressures that can come with school life, including academic stress, anxiety, self-esteem, personal growth, and major life transitions. It offers a space to talk through challenges and build healthier ways to manage them.
