A: No, we do not charge the credit card on file. The card prioritizes and secures your booking. Your appointment time is reserved just for you. Guests are to pay for their service after the service is received. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the booking that could have been filled by another patient. As such, we do require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice will have their credit card charged amounting to 100% of the service. In the event of a missed appointment (i.e. No show), a 100% of the service price will be charged. Missed appointments, last minute cancellations, or arriving too late for an appointment will result in your card being charged the full amount of the service booked.

A: It depends. Not all hydrotherapy services include massage, but they are included with our Spa Day bookings on Saturday and on some promotions.

Additionally, massages and other services like facials can be requested and coordinated. Just email us your request along with any other details and we will do what we can to help.

A: To summarize, the Couples Reconnect is the Romantic Option in the mineral spa ad the Sweetheart Soak is the romantic option for the Salt Bath. Both these options come with chocolate covered strawberries, non-alcoholic bubbly, and essential oil towels.

The prices are also increased because the Salt bath Hydrotherapy service is longer.

A: It is recommended to speak to your doctor before booking a hydrotherapy appointment. HealthlinkBC says temperature should be less than 38.9c (102f) for a maximum of 10 minutes at a time, have another adult with you and get out if you feel any unusual feelings such as dizziness, faint, rapid pulse etc.

Since our hydrotherapy services are baths and not hot tubs, we are required to not exceed a temperature of 37c therefore it does meet with HealthlinkBC temperature guideline.

HealthlinkBC link is as follows:

There are risks involved with bathing while pregnant, therefore we don’t usually recommend the Mineral Bath to those who are expecting.

A: Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) are registered, are regulated by the College of Massage Therapist of British Columbia (CMTBC), their massages are covered by benefits and tend to be for rehabilitative purposes. Bodyworkers have completed education, a program and some are in RMT school, but are not registered, they are governed by Fraser Health, insurance benefits do not cover their massages, and they offer a variety of massages including relaxation/ Swedish, aromatherapy, deep tissue, trigger point, lymphatic drainage, head & feet and integrative massages to name a few.

We do not direct bill for Worksafe claims or with Sunlife at this time.

A: It varies depending on your insurance provider and what is included in your plan however many of our guests with healthcare benefits have coverage for RMT, Acupuncture, Naturopathic and Counselling.

A: No, the hydrotherapy services are NOT hot tubs. The tubs are Jetted Tubs. Each service has the tub drained completely, disinfected and has fresh water for a comforting experience.

Because they are not hotubs, it is also important to arrive on time for your booking.
